Playback Sustain?

Years ago, when I was using MuseScore, there was a way (using the Space Bar, I believe, and some other key) to hold the playback over a given area. You could then hear each progression easily (without the playback continually moving forward) and make corrections easily.

I've completely forgotten how to do that. Any ideas?

I don't think you did that in MuseScore. That's a request I've seen a lot lately and occasionally over the years, but it's never been a feature.
