Copying
So I was wondering how I can copying a score and pasting it onto another score? I don’t want to add instruments to my original score. Just want to copy on paste

Select the range you want to copy, press Ctrl+C, switch to the new score, select the point you would like to begin pasting (note/rest/range), press Ctrl+V! Just like any other software which supports copy and paste.

Click a note and press Shift+Up/Down/Left/Right, or click an empty space within a staff to get a range. Then you can extend it using also Shift+Up/Down/Left/Right. If you want to select the whole score, simply press Ctrl+A.

You must also know that before you do this, the time-signature of the target must be the same as the that of the source. And you must have enough staves. Copy will not copy time signatures the beginning or interior of a range to be copied. If you have multiple time signatures, you must do this for each section with one time signature. If you have frequent time signatures, forget it. These are known deficiences that hopefully will be fixed some time in the future.

Yeah, especially those modern (?) works which have one new time signature per measure :-P
