In Chord Symbole an o (lower case O) and an 0 (zero) get automatically converted into those diminished resp. half diminshed symbols, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/chord-symbols#chord-symbol-syntax

Dear Jojo good afternoon (in Brazil).
Thanks for the guidance however, this only works when we are entering the chord symbols for text does not work.
To write text I learned that we must activate F2. Thus, this character is available both slightly larger and smaller (attached file).

Indeed this works only for chord symbols, but that is what you seem to want to use?
