Charango in fretted and plucked instruments
Could it be possible to add Charango to the fretted instruments?
Charango Accordage Standard C: G4 G4 • C5 C5 • E5 E4 • A4 A4 • E5 E5
Charango Bariton F: C4 C4 • F4 F4 • A5 A4 • D5 D5 • A5 A5
Charango Bariton G: D4 D4 • G4 G4 • B5 B4 • E5 E5 • B5 B5

Yes Thanks, it would be nice to have those instruments in the listing with other plucked instruments we can find on musescore (like balalaika, mandolin, banjo etc)

Is the sound right? is the notes range and the number of frets correct? What should the long and short instruments name be? Are plain and separate tablature staves needed?
Genre would be "World Music" I guess

I'm still waiting for the issue to get created and my question to get answered

Hello ,I just happen to see this thread. Yes, it is a good idea to have the charango as a world instrument in musescore. To make it easier I would say the standar version is enough. Whqt do I have to do in order to start using it in musescore? thank you very much.

You could use my file above as a template

Thanks for #327871: Charango instrument (it seems a duplicate though, see below)

Agreed. I'd like to see Charango (and a wider range of instruments and tunings) in MuseScore's Instrument list. Also in templates.
And the tuning table (String Data) seems to be reversed in the submitted example score above.
I believe the attached document correctly shows the various Charango tunings.

Better mention that in the issue (if the sample score in the issue has it wrong too)
Edit: I see you did, in and to the other issue mentioned below.

Not quite. The string data is wrong; it should be 1-E5, 2-A4, 3-E4, 4-C5 and 5-G4.
This works quite well, though actually it has double strings: 1-E5/E5, 2-A4/A4, 3-E4/E5, 4-C5/C5 and 5-G4/G4.
NOTE that the 3 pair have 1 octave difference.
