Why would you not be able to send your scores via email, and why are you asking about this here?
Why won't you be unable to print your scores after March 13th?
If you save your score online (on musescore.com) and send the link to it via email, and it is neither a Public Domain, nor an Original Work, or you disabled download for it yourself, then make sure to send the secret link via email. This is true since July 2019 BTW, for new accounts on musescore.com, create after that. And will be true for all accounts from March 13th on.
You can send the score itself (mscz) or the pfd via email and nobody will ever stop you from doing that

thanks. below is a copy of the email i received which prompted my question. As to your reply, what is meant by Original Works; are my own compositions Original Work? thanks again.

Hello,
My name is David Mandelshtam. I am the CPO of MuseScore, and I have some important news. From this moment, you have 7 days to print & download all the scores you need.
I need to say that we have already closed print & download options for the basic accounts as of July 14th. You can read the details about this situation here.
We saved your personal privileges as the loyal MuseScore user until this final moment. Score downloading and printing feature will become a part of the PRO subscription after March 13th.
We've been delaying this moment as long as possible, but now we are forced to make changes and fully comply with the licensing agreements with copyright owners to continue developing our products at a higher quality.
We would be very happy if you will continue to use MuseScore with a PRO account, so we are sharing with you our maximum discount of 70% for an annual subscription.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, I will be glad to answer your questions personally. Feel free to send me an email!
With the sincere wishes,
David, CPO MuseScore

That email isn’t about email your own scores, it is about using MuseScore.com to download copyrighted scores that were uploaded by others.

thanks. that's what i was trying to find out!!

If musescore.com was written instead of simply writing musescore, that wouldn't be a misunderstanding.

That was my 2nd guess and what the middle part of my reply was about indeed.
Yes, your compositions are your's and as such qualify as Original Works. Unless they are just arrangemements of someone elses work...

i don't understand your comments; your initial comment appeared to say i can't print out Original Works after March 13 using the same system! is this what you meant?

It is neither what I meant, not what I wrote. PD and Original Works continue to be downloadable to everybody, unless you disable their download

i guess what you meant is that i can do it for my own work only if i send it via the secret email; is so, what is meant by the secret email.

secret link, not secret email.
Needed if your scoure is not publicly visible (marked unlisted) or downloadable (because it is neither PD nor Original Work or you disabled download)
All of my currently 386 scores are 'unlisted' and most are shared only via such a secret link with my choir mates.

i guess i will try to understand this after i finish the piece and try to send it. Thanks.

If it is an original work and on download (or after, via update score) is marked as such, there won't be any download restrictions.

Goodness. If that is the email that was sent out, no wonder there is so much confusion.

Yes, that is the email. I've seen the one my son got.
And yes, I agree with you, and told that David too ;-)
