BWV207asWeddingRcessional
This very cheerful chorus can be heard in another setting on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eByUy4Fn7RI It was originally from a secular cantata to celebrate the elevation of a lawyer named Korte - perhaps a friend? Then Bach re-used it for a cantata in praise of an important personage. Anyway this is in my view a great chorus which deserves to be much better known.
Here new words have been added to make it a wedding recessional and it is set for just 1 keyboard and 4 voices. Not too difficult I think. Perhaps someone will improve my setting? I started out with a facsimile of the original publication.

I downloaded the sample score; could not play back or do anything with this score - unless I signed into my musescore account.
So I did this - and the file was uploaded, as if it was my own work...
At least I could now play it back and save it to my desktop again with permissions to alter the file.
I had to of course instantly delete the uploaded file on musescore.com - otherwise it would have been silly.
I wonder, wether this is a new feature and I have not yet discovered it??
just watched the video - great singing.
The name Drakensberg rings a bell: as a child I saw my first car accident there - my family did a round tour of SA before leaving to Germany (50 years ago....)
