Is there any way to make SATB Closed Score Chorale Writing easier?
I know how to do the voices and everything using the numbers and whatnot. i guess my question is is there any way to do it so that if i wanted to use the 3rd voice for tenor and the 4th for bass i wouldn't have to go back and make all the rests in the bass clef that correspond to the 1st voice (the blue one) invisible? I just hate having to go back and take the time to do all of that. it just takes too much time. Thanks guys!

Right click on the first note (eg. Tenor): Select / More;
In the dialog box select Same Voice etc .;
Click on the icon of the desired Voice in the entry note bar.
It should work, then select (the same way) any unwanted rests, and press Delete.
Or use the filter and copy and paste (maybe it's simpler).
Attach your score here if you want

Excuse me, I forgot: Click on the staff> Edit / Voices> Exchange Voices 1/3
If you're using two staves with two voices on each, you should not be using voices 3 & 4 at all. Soprano and Alto get voices 1 & 2 on the treble staff, Tenor and Bass get voices 1 & 2 on the bass staff.
If you've already entered the lines in unneeded higher-number voices, you can use Edit > Voices > Exchange, followed by View > Selection Filter to delete the rests left in the higher-number voices.
