Akai EWI USB as MIDI controller - help!!!

Hi there,

I have been using Musescore for a long time. I just purchased an AKAI EWI USB, and I am having a very hard time to understand how to use it as a MIDI controller on Musescrore (actually, it did'nt work at all on Finale andsibelius as well...).

I am able to play the EWI with the included ARIA Garritan software, and use it with my iPad, playing thru' SampleTank.

But I do need to creat scores for woodwinds and brass, and when I tried to use the EWI as a controller on Musescore, nothing happens, even when it has the right MIDI configuration on the software.

Anyone has some experience on this? Any help or hints would be very appreciated!
