audio discs for recording
I am wanting to record some of my original music MS files on audio discs. But I need to know more about the right discs to get for recording. Discs that will allow you to program them, like Program 1, 2, 3, etc. for each MS wav. file etc I tried a few discs I happen to have, and it seems you have to use the whole disc up.in one session. Seems you cannot record just some of the disc's total MB capacity, then choose another audio file and record it next, until the whole disc MB is used up. When inserted, these discs I had would say "used disc. Cannot be erased!" etc.,even when the display says most of the disc space is still free! I need to have discs that will be just like when you buy a commercial music disc that has different songs, music, 1,2,3 and you can change the programs on a remote to a CD player, etc. I went on Amazon but the disc descriptions just say "rewritable" or similar. Don't know if these would be the kind I could use? Could anyone on the MS Forum enlighten me? Those seem to be more expensive than just "plain" discs.Thanks.

You don't need any special kind of CD. You just need to organize the audio files into a playlist in whatever CD-burning software you're using first, and then they'll form separate tracks on the CD exactly like you want. If you're using iTunes, I can give you instructions.

@delhud2, as IsaacWeissCardshark said create a folder (such as your desktop) and name it;
Save your files in it, simply drag. Then right click on the File -> Rename, and assign a name preceded by a number, eg. 01 Fugue, Prelude 02

Oh Wow! Hope I can figure all that out! I have never done recording before. I;'m also wondering if the recordings would be better sound quality exported from MS.com instead of my PC, MS.org files? I want to be able to submit a few recordings around to Opera Compnaies/Producers, or even to people on Crowdfunding if I try that.etc.Thanks.

Sound quality will be much better if you export WAV files from MuseScore. MuseScore.com can only do MP3, which is not as good.

Organize the files into a A PLaylist? I want to be able to record my opera "The Anasazi" (It has had more than 3700 views on MS.com.) It has many files. Each file runs about 10-15 minutes. The entire work runs up to 150 minutes total. But I would have to take a break between files to export the next file onto the disc burning tool. Marc Sabatella told me to just export the wav. files to the tools. I have to figure out what CD-burning software to use first I guess. I'm not using iTunes. Just using my original music on MS files to export to software. Does iTunes have a CD-burning software tool?
Thanks so much for your reply! delhud2

For iTunes, see http://www.wikihow.com/Burn-a-CD-with-iTunes. Note that 150 minutes is about twice as much as a single CD can hold.

72min max., IIRC

72 mins only on CD-R's of many years ago, 80 mins on the 700Mb CD-R, and you can push 81-82.
