How to make a global change to a score's tempo when it includes breaths in MuseScore 2
If I change the tempo marking at the start of a score that contains no further tempo marking, the new tempo is only effective as far as the end of the penultimate note (or is it bar?) before the first breath mark. Unmarked changes in tempo are not what I expect as a writer and utterly perplexing for anyone who doesn't know the editing history.
To effect the required change in tempo from the last note before the breath onwards, it does not help to remove the breath. The workaround that I am using is to repeat the new tempo at the last note before each breath and then immediately undo it (Ctrl+Z). This isn't difficult to do, but it is a bit tedious if there are lots of breaths in the score.
Is there a slicker way of enforcing a global change in a score's tempo?
I am using 2.0.0, rev a925ae0. Check for Update reports "No Update Available".

Seems your update checker is wrong, 2.0.3 is out since a couple weeks.
I can't reproduce what you describe here in 2.0.3, so it might have been fixed meanwhile?
If updating doesn't help, please post the specific score you are having trouble with and precise steps to reproduce the problem.
If you are on Linux, it's possible your distyrubtion doesn't include any of the more recent versions, but if you visit the Downloads link in the menuat right of this page, you'll find a version that works with any distrubtion.

I'm sorry to have troubled you, as there is no problem in 2.0.3, but who would have guessed that Check for Update wasn't working?
