Font control over header elements

I would like to have the instrument name for a given part to appear in the running header on each page. I would like it to be 15pt bold. At the same time I would like the page number to be in the header 9pt not bold.

How do I achieve this?

There are some odd limitations to this ability; for one thing the code must be all lower-case, and the end-tag ( /> ) isn't used in the usual way. You might have to experiment a bit to find a code string that works for you.
