Playback very flat
MuseScore 2.0.2 on Ubuntu Studio 16.04. I have tried different voices: piano, electric bass, and guitar, and all three are the same. Also used both bass and treble clefs. In order to get the playback to sound at A=440, I have had to change the synthesizer tuning to A=475. So, I've solved my problem, but thought I should point this out. Maybe it's a bug, maybe it's my equipment, maybe it's something I'm doing wrong, but here it is.
This sure can burn up some time, eh?
Just to show you what I'm talking about I've attached a score I've been working on for electric bass. I don't know if the synth settings will follow the file or not, but in case it's useful, here it is.

MusceScore 2.0.3, ubuntu 16.04. File sounds OK to me (with A=440).

Thank you. I'm not sure what's going on here, but after further experimentation, I think it's a hardware issue. Computers are fun... Anyway, at this point, I don't think MuseScore is doing anything wrong.

Sounds like something is configured to 48000 samples/sec vs normal 44100. The ratio ((48000/44100) * 440) puts A440 at 479, close to your 475.

Thanks again. If I get to the bottom of it, I'll post more info here in case someone else has a similar issue. Current hypothesis: CPU bogged down with lots of work caused the output tone to change. Not sure it that's even possible, but closing programs seems to have changed the performance.

I was going to say something, but never mind.
