Bar Line positions error
I have a bar line positioning error. I've been working on this score for a while, and I don't know what caused this to happen. But I ran over this and have tried to fix it. I've tried deleting the effected measures and re-wrote the part, but the error returned in the same measures after a save and restart. What should I do?

Please will you attach the mscz file concerned as it is unclear what voice the notes in the underneath stave are.
Also it would be handy to know MuseScore version and your computer OS.

Before I post anything other than the screen shot, I must ask: How do you open an mscz file? I've tried opening one, but I don't understand what that kind of file is.
But I can post that I am using version 1.1 on Windows 7.

Huh? You just open them with MuseScore
mscz files are zipped mscx files, so you could also open them with WinZIP.

I have a file that says "mscz, file" but it wont let me unzip it or open it with musescore. So I still don't understand.

The version ending with a comma (and starting with a period) is the backup file. Look for the one that doesn't with a comma or start with a period. In other words, the one that you actually saved.

Ok, so the one that I actually saved says "Compressed MuseScore File".
