Adding a bass clef stave to individual bars
Hi, I'm trying to find a way I can write lead sheets, but to include some bars with both treble and bass clef. (to remind me of an intro or bass riff or part that might be more difficult to remember)
So far I've tried starting with the grand staff and then going to bar properties to hide the bass clef bars that are empty, but this only lets me hide one empty bar at a time, so quite laborious, is there a better way? Also when doing hiding empty bass clef bars, the bar line at the beginning of each new line is left hanging, as if it's expecting a bass clef stave which looks odd and unsightly. Is there anyway to remove this?
Ideally I'd like to start with just a lead sheet format and then add in a bass clef stave to bars I want, even if this is in the middle of a line. Is this possible? I'm using Musescore 2.0, but will upgrade soon so something that would work in either or both would be great.
Any suggestions most welcome, please.
Many thanks.

Hide empty staves is what you're looking for I guess. Works fine for multiple instruments, not sure it works for Grand staff too
"Hide empty staves" is indeed what you want. After entering all the notes, turn that option on, in Style / General.
Thank you both for taking the time to reply. Very much appreciated. I'll let you know how I get on.
Have a great weekend
Cheers :-)
