Copying instruments into another score
I am working on a piece that has a ton of parts, and it has multiple sections, which I'm going to put into multiple scores. How can I add the instruments to a new score without the notes?

Either just add the instruments to the new score ('I', Edit ->Instruments, and select instruments one by one) or save you work then save it with a new name and press [Ctrl]a to select all and [Del] to delete the notes, leaving behind the instruments waiting for notes to be added.
In general, you can simply save your score to your Templates folder and then it will be available in the Create New Score wizard alongside the default templates.
