Multimeasure rests and Fermata
This is an opinion. Where a fermata occurs over a full measure rest, it disappears and the measure is included in a multimeasure rest if there is a full measure rest on either side of the fermata measure. I believe the fermata measure should stand alone with the fermata displayed on it. This should be so regardless of the type of fermata used.

I agree. This is what I've always seen in playing and transcribing music.
Note you can get this by right clicking the measure, measure properties, and checking the option to exclude the measure from multimeasure rests. So it's possibly to override the default and get this behavior. Whereas if we changed the default it is less obvious how a user would override that to get the current behavior. Probably no one would have reason to want to, but I thought it worth mentioning anyhow.
Seems this is fixed in 2.1 as well as master already, so will be available as soon as 2.1 and 3.0 get released officially. For the time being you can have either as a 'nightly build' for testing
