As Jojo says: it does work, a little tweaking by Inspector (F8->P=velocity 55), to make more conspicuous the passage, and hairpins resizing. Do you hear the difference?

I see your crescendos and diminuendos just fine, so they clearly work. I guess you mean, they don't also happen to play back. That is because this is not currently supported within a single note - the way we use MIDI, this is not possible. A future release may use MIDI differently and make playback of single-note hairpins possible. For now, though, it works in the sense it needs to work for a notation program - the marking appears in your score and will be read by the human musicians playing your score. It just doesn't happen to also playback in the computer-generated audio.
