Musescore 1.1 not starting in Windows 7
Musescore was working fine in Windows 7 64 bit. I tried starting it and it would not start - no errors pop ups or anything. Looked through the forums and found I wasn't alone. Windows 7 is patched to current level, also running current Norton Anti Virus and Firewall. Tried rebooting to no avail. Finally changed program properties to 'run as administrator'. It started up and I got a pop up asking for permission for program to modify the hard drive. I answered yes and it started fine. I was signed on to Windows with an id that had admin priveleges too. It appears something changed in Windows with the last update.

It's advised to upgrade your MuseScore to version 1.2.

I am a photographer and use a Wacom tablet. Musescore 1.2 hangs after program start with the tablet connected.
For musescore 1.2 to run on a WIN 7 machine with a Wacom tablet, disconnect the tablet and revert back to using a mouse
Musescore 1.2, WIN 7 64 bit. 8GB RAM, AMD processor.

I believe this had been reported earlier and was/is due to a problem in Qt.
Edit: found it: http://musescore.org/en/node/7600#comment-54064

No, that's why it is spelled differently ;-)
