Pictures in scores
I want to attach a picture to one of my scores so that the front page will look more interesting when I post it, however, I can't insert a picture directly onto the first page, and whenever I add a frame and add a picture in the frame, it doesn't appear right away when I reopen the score, and doesn't show at all when I post the score. Is there a way I can have a picture on the front of my score so that it will show when posted?

Midnight-Rain, about images ... have you noticed the button on MsS.com?

Yeah I have. What exactly does that button do?

Not to be difficult, but I've already tried that and it doesn't work. The image won't show when I post the score and when I reopen the score in the app I have to click on the frame just to see the image.

A guess - maybe you tried saving your score as MSCX and uploading that. This won't include any images. If you use MSCZ it should work. In order to do more than guess, we'd need you to attach a score you are having trouble with and give precise steps to reproduce the problem.

Ok, so I've attached the score. It's in MSCZ format, so I don't know what else to do. Sorry I didn't think to attach the score earlier.

Never mind, I got it to work. Turns out I inserted the wrong type of frame. Oops.

?? Any frame should do. As does any note or rest

Just drag an image to the title frame and drop it there, then reposition and resize it to your heart's content

For the record, the posted score does not contain any image. There is no image to display anywhere within the file (I opened the archive and examined the MSCX file and the contents of the archive itself). So whatever you did to add the image in that file didn't work, indeed. but it should work if you add it correctly. So if you continue to have trouble, please list the exact steps you are following so we can see what might be going wrong.

Hmmm.... What I usually do is I download an image that I want to appear on my cover, and then I copy and paste it to the title text box on the first page of my score. (The little outlined blue box at the top of the page.) For some reason, mine only works if I copy it and then hit "Ctrl-V." I can't just hit "copy" and then "paste." Maybe try that. That's what works for me. If that doesn't work, maybe try copying it a different way.
"Ctrl-C" (Copy)
"Ctrl-V" (Paste)
Hope that helps! :)

Win 8.1
With an explorer window opened, and a windowed MuseScore, I simply drag the .png/.jpg file and drop it in the title frame, or another frame, on the same page I wish the picture to appear.
