Score tab and navigator remains after closing a score
1. Open score.
2. 'Close'.
Result: The score tab is still there.
Note: It will disappear If you do something, such as click somewhere.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (2c001c2) - Mac 10.7.5.

Yes, for me too - same behaviour.
It's about Qt 5 rendering?
trig-ger is on Linux. I'm on Windows. Same behavior here. And yes, it's most probably due to the move of Qt5.
And that's not the only difference due to the migration to Qt5.1.
Attached to this post I am sending two screenshots taken at startup of MuseScore with the example score, and just after closing the example score, with an old Nightly build (Qt4.8) and one recent (this morning) Nightly build (Qt5.1).
[ The color difference in the icons, the spacing and alignment of notes (the wrong alignment of the 3/4 notes in multi-voice is due to one of the latest commit) and the dashed line for boxes are NOT related to the Qt migration. ]
The differences related to Qt migration are:
- tab and navigator image remaining after closing score (they disappear if a menu is opened or a panel is docked/undocked or closed);
- the dock button and close button of panels have changed (from white to black and the dock button has a different shape);
- texts in buttons and tabs are slightly shifted;
- the MuseScore Connect panel uses different text styles.
Windows 8 (Nightly rev. number in the images)
Still a problem also when compiling with Qt 5.1.1 RC1. See attachment.
(Personal build rev. e47d9de7ba, Qt 5.1.1 RC1, MinGW gcc 4.8.0, Windows 8)
According to http://musescore.org/en/node/23715 trying to close the tab may lead to crash.
Still can be reproduced.
Note: It will disappear If you do something, such as click somewhere
In my case it dissapears after swithching to another window or opening of Open File dialog. Clicks inside Musescore or moving the main window do not affect the tab.

Since it seems we don't have a solution coming from Qt. I forced the repainting of the main window and the navigator. It seems to fix it on Mac OSX.
Fixed in 56177c3077
On Windows (7 Enterprise, 64-bit) too (self built, with Qt 5.3)
Automatically closed -- issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
