How to input this measure?
The 7th measure, top staff of this: http://d.pr/i/tK8S
I can't figure out how to input that. I know about different voices to get the half note + quarter note chords, but it still didn't work. Whatever I try gets spread across two measures.
Btw, I'm a total newbie to music in general, so sorry I can't be more specific.

It would help if you posted the score you are working on so we can see how far you got and what you might have done wrong. Looks to be very straightforward: first enter the upstem notes on voice 1, then switch to voice 2 and enter the downstem notes. Be sure you switch voices *while in note input mode* and then immediately enter the notes - that's a common mistake. Desn't work to switch to voice voice before goong to note input mode, or to exit note input mode after switching voices.
