Long tails on notes
I just created parts for alto and tenor saxophone and many but not all of the notes have tails that go right down through several staves. Not usable like that.
Any suggestions?

Please attach the score, (at least a screenshot) so the good people here can have a look.
Also operating system, Musescore version.

I think I can picture what you are describing, and it is a sign of a score that has been corrupted somehow. If you post it here - the score itself, not just a picture of it - someone may be able to help restore it to normal.
Sounds like what happens when too many notes are selected and then beamed together. Try selecting the affected area* and then double-clicking on the single note in the Beam Properties palette and then double-clicking on the big letter A in the same palette.
*If it's the whole score then click anywhere on the score, press [Ctrl]-a to select everything and then do the Beam Properties thing. If it works, please let us know and if it doesn't then please post again and attach the score.
