Can't open file, Musescore is "too old"
I can't get Musescore to open the attached file. A dialog box pops up when I open it that says "Cannot read this score; Your version of Musescore is too old". But I have the most current version (1.3). I don't have this problem with any other files that I know of.
I'm running Windows 8.1.

Most probably it had been saved with a nightly build.

So does that mean I can only open it with the nightly build now? I haven't messed with the nightly build in a long time, so it's possible I saved it with that a while ago. I'd like to be able to open it with regular Musescore again.

If you're lucky you can open it with a current highly build, if unlucky you'd need an old one. Save as XML, then open in 1.3

I've got an old nightly build on my laptop, let me try that and transfer it to my new desktop and see if that works.
My version of the nightly build won't let me save as an XML. Only options are Musescore format (.mscz, .mscx) or All Files. I tried selecting all files and then changing the extension to .xml, but it just appended a .mscz after that (so it was [filename].xml.mscz). Should I try a newer nightly build?

That worked, thanks! Ugh, just when I think I'm getting really good at Musescore, something stupidly simple like this happens and I feel dumb.
