WAV and MP3
Saving my score to WAV, or to MP3, the sound is distort.
Saving to MID is perfect.
This started to happen, when I updated my MuseScore version.
I just cannot work with this.
I wish I could take back the update, and reinstall the former version!!
Can anyone help?

Saving = Export?

Make a couple of attempts:

Try replacing the soundfont, step 3 -> https://musescore.org/en/node/96811

Yes, export. I have been using this feature for years. Suddenly after updating, I have this problem with all scores, doesn't matter which.
I restored factory settings, checked the soundfont.
If you continue to have problems, please attach your score and give us precise steps to reproduce the problem so we can investigate.

I exported as waw (23 MB) and MP3 (2.09 MB) I do not hear distortions (Vista/VLC/Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe)

Can you describe the distortions so we can know what to listen for? Are you saying it sounds different in the audio file than in the playback within MuseScore? What OS? What settings do you see in Edit / Preferences / I/O? Also, are you using something other than the default soundfont?

See attachment in the next message.
Distortion : very loud, a lot of reverb.
Settings : see attached jpg
I restored all default settings.
Can you export some of the eight measures to mp3; (With the distort effect you are talking about)
and make zip and add them here?

zipping an mp3 won't buy anything. Except maybe circumvent a restriction in what you can attach here

Yes;
We can not attach mp3, but we can attach zip.
We need this, to hear distortion (what kind of) .
(because of OP's problem about mp3 and wav export)

just an idea...

The synthesizer volume doesn't affect export.

Thank You...
I can tell you that there is no distortion or artifacts in this export.
I think that you have lower the volume from your MP3 player or Windows mixer.
In your MP3 player, look at the preamp of your equalizer, not higher than zero.

Yes thank you, I realize it's the MP3 player/mixer.
