Appimage problem

I downloaded the Appimage file, made it executable, and tried to run it, but got this message:
MuseScore-2.1-i686.AppImage: error while loading shared libraries: libfuse.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any idea what this means, or what I need to do? tia
