How do I apply this to my partition?
This might be a stupid question, but I have no idea how to put this on a Musescore partition, so if someone could help me, that'd be amazing <3

A tempo marking?

See: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/swing#triplet
if that's what you mean...
This is a relative tempo marking, the next major version of MuseScore supports this directly, until then you'd need to create and calculate it yourself.
I make two tempo marks using the palettes. One with a 1/4 note, one with a dotted 1/4 note. I delete the number off of the one with the dotted 1/4 note then copy and paste the 1/4 note in its place. I then delete the unneeded tempo mark. Finally, I use the inspector to ensure the correct tempo (which is always based upon a 1/4 note).

or you take one tempo marking, delete the number and insert a note symbol from the special characters table (F2)

Notice: 'number of Beats Per Minute' is always 'Quarter Note Based' in Musescore 2.x )
