Drag the treble clef to the first measure and delete any other clef changes in the score.
And actually, if it's truly a selection you want to affect - change to treble at the start, back to alto at the end - you can do this very simply by making the selection then double-clicking the clef icon in the palette. That automatically inserts both changes.
