problem with a quarter note rest in 3/4 time
Attached is a score for three guitars in 3/4 based on a Passepied by Telemann. Measure 1 has a pickup note. The problem occurs where the first repeat sign appears . The original score shows only a half note played before returning with no quarter note rest. Musescore puts a quarter note rest because of the 3/4 time . How can I keep that rest from appearing so that musescore plays only that half note with no quarter note rest and then returns to the beginning. The problem occurs again at the end of the piece where a repeat appears.

Using measure properties, change the measure duration(s) so the pickup has 1 beat and the complementary measure at the end has 2 beats.
See:

Problem solved ! Thanks for the fast response. As a mac user, I did not think to right clicking on a note to get its measure properties/duration. However, thats a lame excuse . I should as they say "Read TFM"
