Half and eighth note
I was making a composition on Musescore and had two notes starting in one beat and I could not seem to make the top note a half note and the bottom an eighth note. Any help would be appreciated!

It's probably the most common question on the forum. I wish I knew how to make people not need to ask it. Don't get me wrong, I and several other people have no problem answering the same questions. I want the new users to not need to ask simple questions.
