Sound terrible on iMac desktop newest version.
I have loaded the Software on my iMac OS High Sierra and the Playback mode plays terrible and can hear the notes. I can write but not hear what i write properly. All is loaded properly has this bug on the sound. Is there a way to adjust the sound?
Thanks for the support.

What version of MuseScore?
Have you tried Help / Revert to Factory Settings? How about rebooting the computer?
If neither helps, can you record the sound so we can hear what you mean?

The glitch is when you adjust the volume control on the iMac, not the within the Musescore software, the sound does not work properly. You have to set the volume and not touch it on restart. This is weird, but it works as a solution for now, but it is a bug that needs to be fixed. If done this way then it works.
Thanks for the reply.

Sounds like the volume control on your iMac might be defective, then - could be a bug but could also be a hardware failure.
No sound at all for me on 2.2.1 Version 1.3 does have sound This is on macOS High Sierra, Version 10.13.4
Also other apps don't have any problems - Digital Performer 9.51, Logic Pro X 10.4.1, Band-in-a-Box Version 2017.

No sound un update to 2.2.1 happens if you had done certain customizations that work differently in 2.2 and later. So the simple solution if Help / Revert to Factory Settings. If you have done other customizations that are still working that you don't want to lose, you can instead do View / Synthesizer, then Add, MuseScore_General.sf3, then Set as Default.
