Copy/Pasting Time Signatures
I have been making arrangements of my own compositions for some time. I frequently copy/paste the necessary parts, but this becomes a problem when I have several time signature changes. For example, in the attached score, there are several instances of two bars of alternating 5/8 and 6/8. Currently, the two ways I work around this are:
- put the time signatures into the new score. I can't perfectly remember the time signatures, so I have to go back and forth between the scores.
- make a duplicate of the score and delete all the unnecessary measures. It only works if I am creating an entirely new score.
Does anyone know any better ways to keep the time signatures?
Thanks.
(By the way, the attached score shows only one instrument out of many.)

'View' documents side by side Could it be useful?
There is no way to copy time signatures. Using Shoichi's idea of side by side or stacked documents is the way to go so you don't have to remember time signatures or switch back and forth. You can find this under the view menu.
