Score Comparison Tool temp file error after restart
Has anyone seen this? I will log an Issue if there isn't one.
OS: OS X El Capitan (10.11), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.19704, revision: e96bb91
Prerequisite:
Have Preferences -> "Continue Last Session" enabled.
File -> Score Comparison Tool
opens the embedded dialog at the bottom of the screen.
Open a score (any, even a new/blank one)
Score 1: the file, Current Version
Score 2: same file, Last Saved Version
File -> Score Comparison Tool removes the embedded dialog, but not the temporary tab
If I close the app and restart, without closing the temporary comparison tab first, it does not ask if I want to save the file (correct since the file is temporary)
When MS starts up, I get error
(red exclamation): Cannot read file /var/folders/yw/6py_726s1gs4mh3nz0mw1vd80000gn/T/[Last saved version] 3.0_blank.s12588.mscz:
No such file or directory
Workaround: close any temporary comparison files before shutdown to avoid the error message.
Fixes (suggestions)
a) Do not try to save any temporary comparison files on shutdown, or
b) Discard / ignore temporary comparison files saved in the last session when starting up and resuming the last session

Very strange thing to comment on ;)
As a Linux user, looked strange to me. Apparently it is a thing on macOS
