Help for silly newbie questions
Do not know where to get help for silly newbie questions.
I create a new page. [Piano solo]
There are two lines with rests.
I cannot make more than two lines.
I cannot delete the rests.
??
Note, I have used the tutorials [they do not answer the questions.]
I have read the manuals [they do not answer the questions.]

This is the place for answers.
Pianos have two lines, so that's good.
You don't delete rests, you replace them with notes, just like it says in https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/note-input.
If you need more measures, then use Add->Measures->Append measures and add several so you don't have to do it too often.
As you add notes, the measures will become wider and start moving empty measures to the next line. At some point the measure you are adding notes to will move to the next line, this is normal. When you fill the page with measures, a new page will magically appear and you can continue adding notes.
Since you're doing piano music I also suggest that you make sure you read https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/voices since you are likely to need to use voices. Use the examples in these as exercises so you can see how they work. You can select all of the notes and delete them when you're done.
I suspect your first language is not English. If you tell me which language you read, then I'll post links to these pages in that language to help you out.

mike320, I wonder if MuseScore could offer a full empty score, without rest, only the staves, as the real printed blank score pages. Wouldn't be more easy to new people? ???

Not in my opinion, it would be more confusing. The rests are there to tell you where you can put notes. If you want to skip putting notes in a measure, you put a rest in it, you don't keep it empty.

Mmm... It would be a very good discuss issue, in some forum (not here).

First [and for this purpose - only] language is [Amer] English.
I will follow your instructions.
I do notice that the rests disappear when adding notes, except they did not in my first attempts. On my fifth attempt, they disappeared as I added notes. I am not sure what I did different.
Thanks for the help.

Rests will disappear according with the rhythm value of the notes you entry.
If you have a 4/4 bar and you entry two quarter notes, only, you will have the two quarter notes and a half note rest, because the 4/4 bar has to have a whole note time, always.

I don't know what you were doing wrong. If you have a 4/4 measure with a measure rest and press N (to enter note input mode) 5 D you will have a D quarter note followed by a quarter rest and a half rest. The amount of rest will be reduced from 4 to 3. If you enter a half note into the measure you will have a half note followed by a half rest, that looks similar to a measure rest if you don't know what your looking at.
BTW, you said you watched some tutorias and read some manuals, but can you say which did not answer your questions? The official ones we provide are quite good, detailed, and accurate. Here's one of mine that is great for getting started:

Thanks, I will check it out.
I think now, after learning some more, that the tutorials that I used just assumed that I would realize the the measures would space out as I added notes. And that the rest would disappear.
Silly newbie that I am, I tried to delete the rest BEFORE adding notes.
But I am getting better. I have been making some very basic practice sheets for piano.
