Adding a 4 bar rest to a score

Hi. I'm new to MuseScore so looking for a bit of help. I've got a scan of an Alto sax part which I am copying across to MuseScore so I can make a couple of adjustments and transpose to add a new part for a Tenor.

You'll see from the attached image, that there are 4 bar rests at bar 5 and bar 17. I can't figure out how to display this in MuseScore other than as four empty bars. How can I display it as in the example image?

Please excuse me if I've not got the terminology correct and thanks for your help.
