Placement Problems
Hi. Musescore 3 has very strong (automatic)placement problems. It not only concerns the binding bows, but mostley n-toles that are spaning over more than one line.
In the attached screenshots you can see that the 6-tole had to be placed down 38sp. Everytime I try to adjust it jumps all over the place. In the next screenshot it completely "destroys" the measure by activating automatic placement.
I'm on 3.0.5, but in 3.1 the n-toles aren't working at all

If you move anything that triggers auto placement in a bad way, select it and remove the check from Auto placement in the inspector (or press alt while moving most items in version 3.1).

Sorry, but we're still unable to open images in musescore. Please attach the actual score for inspection.

Better in Musescore 3.1. Thx
3.0.5 definitely had issues with cross-staff tuplets, but 3.1 should be fine. You say they "aren't working at all" - they certainly do for me. Can you post the specific score you are having problems with (not just a picture)?

HI. I just made a new screenshot where the I marked the problem(3.0.5). 3.1 solves the issue merely now. I downloaded the beta about a week ago, and it didn't create the n-toles right. But now it works. The n-tole line still jumps arround, when you try to edit it, but it's a lot better. I think the problem mainly occurs, when you create a n-tole, that spans over 2 scorelines. That's where it gets "bitchy" ;). You can ckeck it out in the attached file. The problems occur at the last 2 measures.
Good Job though. Thank you.

Can you explain what you mean about it jumping around when you try to edit it? I just tried using a current 3.1 build and didn't see any problems.

Figuered, I had to assign a certain position first ('on top' or 'at the buttom'). Then the editing worked well.
3.1 fixes the problems of 3.0.x. Thank you.
Well. I don't know if I have to start a new post, because there's a new problem now, depending the placement of the clefs, when spanning runs over more than one staff?

If it's not related, best to start a new thread with a descriptive title, easier to follow discussions that way.
