How do I do this?
I need some help, how do I get those dots on top of the note? (check screenshot) I know those are 16th notes but how does he fit 8 of them in one measure? Are those augmentation dots? How do I get those and put those notes in?

Those are Staccato dots, from the Articulations palette, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/articulations-and-ornaments

Those are actually 8th notes and they are most likely in 4/4 time though 2/2, C, Cut and 8/8 and a few others are possible.
