1) Create a file with repeats and 1st and 2nd endings
2) export to wav or mp3
3) the wav or mp3 does not repeat sections and plays the 2nd ending straight after the 1st ending

It sounds like you have play repeats turned off on your toolbar.

Repeats was turned on in toolbar but not in the Preferences dialog. Turning on application/playback/playRepeats solved the problem.

I can't get it work. Repeat when exporting to MP3 seems to be ignored. Pleaase play the attached score in Musescore including repeat. It taks aprox. 1:20 minut. The exported MP3-file only taks aprox. 0:55 min
No score attached. Is the "play repeats" button enabled? In preferences too?

Duration in MuseScore is 1:22, export as MP3 and duration is 1:24 (2 seconds added to let ring out the last tone), so no bug there.

I have the same problem, Play repeats button turned on, but does not loop in exporting to MP3. Where is application/playback/playRepeats? I don't see application in Preferences or anywhere else in MuseScore on Windows 10, version 3.6.2.5.

Okay, I found Preferences->Advanced->application/playback, but no application/playback/playRepeats. Has this been moved or removed?

Actually I should clarify that I don't want part of the score repeated, I want the ENTIRE score to repeat three times. I added a start and end repeat to the score, but it starts at the beginning of the score, not the quarter note at the end of the first measure where I want it to start again. I suppose it is asking too much to be able to export a score three times only?
