Yes, we're on it, scratching our heads as to why it doesn't update (it didn't at all earlier today due to a missing comma, but with that fixed it still doesn't update the translations)

Thank you, I'm afraid I couldn't be of any help. I continue with my small contributions though.

Should be working now, I've been told.
And now I can confirm that this indeed is the case ;-)

'Close without Saving/Cancel/Save' (instead of the ugly tralascia) and the labels of the symbols in the palettes not translated?
A third-party problem?

Where do you see 'Close without Saving/Cancel/Save' ?
The toolTips on the palette items have not been translated ever since MuseScore 3, see #280540: Tool tips in the palettes of both workspaces and the master palettes are not translated

You'll have to be patient. I'm downloading the Win7 update (deadly slow as usual). Then I'll restart the machine to switch to Mint (64 bit), open a score (e.g. Reunion) and close it. Then I can attach the image. Updated translations, I have to check after restart.
Tool tips: If not now, when? ;-)

You mean ?
If those buttone are not translated for you, it'd be Qt's fault

A third-party problem Qt: I don't like you :(
90% discharged. More information will follow...

Sorry ;-)
It is standard dialog buttons straight from Qt, so uses their translations (if available)

It is translated for me, to Italian too:
If it isn't for you, your installation is missing some qt*_*.qm files
So not Qt's fault but your distribution's?

Probably. I'll try the laptop with 7 (on which it was not possible to install from 3 onwards)/Mint again , but not today.
It' s curious:
laptop -> 7 no, Mint, yes:
desktop -> 10 yes, Mint no (never managed to resize the interface*)
If the problem is only on my side then it is irrelevant.

Strange, for me it seems work by using the AppImage of the actual beta:
but doesn't seem to work with the AppImage of MS 3.2.3:
AFAIK, both are using Qt 5.9.3.

I took my laptop out of the freezer :)
I have revert to factory settings;
Updated the translations;
Changed from System to Italian.
The result is identical for the two versions.

I've to correct me, the first screenshot is from an nightly build of 3543170 (not from the actual beta). The numbering inside the file name ("...3_3.0.0...") confused me.
For the actual beta it's the same as for second screenshot.
But also the mentioned nightly build is using Qt 5.9.3 as for the other versions.
