Accidentally hit ctrl n instead of ctrl v on the last part of a score before saving what can i do

If I understand, you still have the old one but a new score has come up.

Simply cancel it, or if you have already accepted it, you should see a bar just above it which allows you to choose which score you will work on. Your "lost" score should be there.
