Printer not recognised in MuseScore 3

I have uninstalled MuseScore 2 and installed MuseScore 3 from the Ubuntu repository. When I try to print a score the Print window only offers me Print to File (PDF). My printer is not now listed as an option. My printer is installed and available to other programs, e.g. LibreOffice. How can I make it available to MuseScore as it was when using MuseScore 2.
