Load error, can not read file
I spent a session making this song, saved the song with no problems, closed Musescore, and later today when I went back to edit it, it said it couldn't read the file. I can't find any autosaves or last saved versions, despite searching my entire PC. Is there anything I can do?
Edit: Musescore is also not opening at all now.

I couldn't get anywhere with that file, maybe someone else will have more luck.
What goes wrong when you try to start MuseScore? What version, what OS? Try updating, 3.3.4 fixes a number of incompatibilities that affected a few people.

It just doesn't open at all. Doesn't display a message or anything. I don't know what version it is, and I'm on Windows 10. It prompted an update before I started making the score, and I told it to remind me later. I don't know how to update it if it won't open.

Just go to the Download page (see links at top of this page) and download the installer.
That score is broken beyond repair, after a seemingly valid ZIP header it contains nothing but zeroes.
