MuseScore 3.3.4 freezes after about 2-3 minutes of use
I'm currently writing a score for a large school project, my degree partially depends on this project. I've always used MuseScore due to it's ease of access and free nature.
However, recently when I have been using Musescore it's been freezing up. After opening the app, it runs normally for a few minutes where I typically just add notes. (I'm doing the base of the piece right now). After a few minutes, it completely freezes. I can't use hotkeys, I can't click anything, it is completely frozen. I can still exit out of the application and the rest of my computer is fine. When it is not frozen, I cannot hear any audio (if that affects this at all)
I am running this on an Acer Chromebook R11 with linux
Linux: penguin 4.19.86-07780-g3c6544b539b7 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Dec 3 20:51:44 PST 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Chrome: Version 80.0.3987.58 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
Problem happens on both MuseScore 3.3.4 and 3.2.3

So far it seems like that is working! Odd to me that continuous view would do that. Thank you!

And... I jinxed it, just as I sent that MuseScore froze again, this time in Page view.

Hmm, autosave kicks in every 2 minutes, maybe switch it of for a test?

While I'm going through the task manager to close the current application, can you describe to me how to turn off autosave just so it doesn't freeze before I can do that?

Turned off autosave and after a bit of adding a drum break it froze again.

Forgive me if I'm being absurd. Could it be something related to OS audio?
Uninstall and reinstall MDL and/or Soundfont?
