Pizzicatto and arco
This last version, 3.4.1, offers as staff text pizz and arco options, but they don't work as expected (at least on my Linux Mint machine)

Thank you for sending me this test file. I know that last version of Musescore has available the new ressources pizz and arco and they work here.
But I figured out that my problem has to do with a imported xml score. I've made a composition on Finale and then exported it via xml to Musescore. In such case the pizz doesn't work at all. Please, see my file attached.

I tried to replace your instruments. Try the attachment, I'm afraid you'll have to correct something.
