How to apply mss file while converting musicxml to pdf

I'm using musescore 4 in shell, for converting musicxml(mxl) to pdf in batch. I want to ensure the page break and line break are consistent with the breaks in musicxml, so I saved a mss file and added -S(--style) option to include the mss file while converting. The command is: msscore -o output.pdf --style style.mss input.mxl, but the it didn't work. The page setting in mss file is 'A3' while the output pdf is in 'A4' size.
