3 quarter notes in 2 beats with a half note
In a Reverie piece by Debussy in the 5th measure you have 3 quarter notes in 2 beats with a half note. It has a bracket over the 3 quarter notes. Can someone share how you implement this in musescore? What is this called exactly?
Thanks

In the Hand Book https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tuplets for your triplet you must start with a lenght of 2 times, so with an half note or a rest of 2 times, you click it , and you tape CTRL+3
And if you mean there is literally a half note at the same time as the triplet, in the same staff, for that see the section on Voices, which is the musical term for having two independent rhythms at once in the same staff.
