Exporting Parts
I made an arrangement for 6 oboes, but my computer (a mac) thinks that each part is oboe 1. I tried clicking on "export parts" under the file tab, but wasn't able to click on it. Is there a way to name each part and then save/export it?
I currently have Musescore 3.

Can you attach here the score you are having problems with?
Yes, you can rename parts after they've been created

How do you do this?

In the File > Parts dialog just rename them
To see the change names in the tabs you'd need to close and reopen the score though
A few points of confusion here I think.
First, if Export Parts is grayed out, it means you don't have any parts right now. You might have six instruments in your score, but no parts. You need to use File / Parts first to generate parts (the "All Parts" button will create one part for each instrument automatically).
But, before you do that, you will want to name the instruments and their staves appropriately. Do that by right-clicking (Ctrl+click or two-finger-tap for devices with no right mouse button) the staff and then selecting Staff Properties. You can then rename the instrument and its stave(s) whatever you want. Do this before generating parts.
Exporting the parts is something you'd want to only after all of this, if you in fact want to have six different PDF files (one for each oboe). But you don't necessarily need to do that. Once you've generated the parts, you can print them directly from within MuseScore. But the Export function is nice if you need to email the resulting PDF's to the individual musicians.
