Copyright on scores?
Hello,
What is the copyright status of scores created with the Musescore program? Does Musescore have rights to any scores created on the program, regardless of whether or not they were uploaded online? If I were to write an original composition on Musescore, would I own the copyright on it? Thanks in advance.

The MuseScore software is entirely free to use.
Scores you write with the software are completely your own and MuseScore can't claim any copyright on them. Even more so, if you render/export audio from your score using the MuseScore_General soundfont, that audio is also entirely your own and without any obligation to MuseScore.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply!! On that note, would the music fonts (i.e. treble clef, quarter note glyphs) be copyrightable by Musescore?

Those are free to use too, no copyright. Else they would not be included in MuseScore, see http://scripts.sil.org/OFL

And that not only on that note, that's on all of them ;-)
