Measures Keep Shifting
For some reason, whenever I try to edit one of my scores, some of the measures keep shifting to different pages. Is there any way to keep the length of the measures fixed so that they don't move automatically?

No. You can reduce stretch though.

You can place a System Break at the last measure in a system: you will find System Break and Page Break on the Breaks and Spacers palette.

Music, like text, has to fit into the space allocated. Depending on the (length of the) edit, a new line or page may be needed:
