EXTENDING SCALES
I am trying to print up 3 scale octaves. My first scales is the C scale but the program does not allow me to go past F 3 lines above the staff.

It sounds like you are using a mouse for note entry. When the mouse gets to other things, it stops permitting you to enter notes so the easiest fix is to use the keyboard, at least for the notes the mouse can't reach. Once you're used to it, the keyboard is far faster.
