Sounds delay a lot when using external audio interface

I'm using Focusrite Scarlett Solo (2nd gen) for audio interface on my laptop (MacBook Pro).

When I enter notes, their sounds come out with some delay. In case of using over 10 staves in score, every note doesn't make sound when they're entered and huge delay happens when playback.

Is there any users having same problem, or would it be just an issue I could fix in the settings?
